Being a happy-go-lucky person she is, Gayatri always wanted to bring a platform to life where like-minded artists can get together and follow their heart, without having to worry about the logistics of it. At NKD Arts, she is trying to do just that and believes that giving a someone full artistic freedom beings out the best in them, be it in professional or personal life.



DEEPAK ARORA - Creative Director

Deepak has been teaching and performing dance in the bay area for more than a decade. He has been involved in teaching, choreographing, performing as well as spearheading numerous stage productions. Deepak's dance and choreography feature a unique blend of energy, expressions, act and fun. He regularly experiments by blending different forms of dance on Bollywood music. With no prior professional training or experience, Deepak often says: "Dance runs in my veins, so what if not in my genes!".

Amrita Mishra - Marketing Director

A multi-talented person who is always ready to give more than 100% to anything she truly believes in, Amrita joined NKD Arts since its inception and has been totally committed to company operations. In addition to being a regular dancer in the troupe, Amrita has created a niche for herself in advertising and promoting company events and activities, at times, single handedly but very effectively. Amrita also likes to sing, sketch and has a penchant for fashion. She been a part of few multicultural professional fashion shows as well. At NKD Arts, Amrita loves to pursue these various forms of performing arts as well as actively taking part in our wide variety of endeavors.



PRATIKSHA - Chief Choreographer

With a diploma degree in Kathak & Bharatnatyam, Pratikha has been a full-time dance teacher at a government affiliated school in India, before moving to US. She has extensive experience teaching students of all age groups and skill levels. Pratiksha loves to teach Bollywood and FreeStyle and her classes are usually booming with energy. For Pratiksha, Dance has been a lifelong love. Even at a young age, she was fascinated by the way a dancer’s body movements and facial expressions evoke a flow of emotions in an observer. She dances to create her own art of heart and passion. Having won several medals at state level and national level in India, Pratiksha also served her art with an NGO for 2 years. As an instructor, her philosophy is to inspire, cultivate, nurture and have fun.
